On Wednesday 20 March 2002, Chris and I did a short two hour hike... it was showery for most of the day, and we felt like getting out and hiking.  It was a great little walk along the tops of bluffs, about an hour's drive east of Hobart, Tasmania on the Tasman Peninsula.

Now, an aside: one annoying thing in Australia is that distance is never marked on hiking tracks (trails)... distance is always listed in time, not kilometers.  This leads to some wild discrepencies, as seen below.

This is the sign as you head out from Waterfall Bay towards Waterfall Bluff:

This sign is 20 minutes down that trail:

Now, how did Fortescue Bay suddenly become 30 minutes farther?  Nevermind the fact that it only took us 1 hour, not two, to make it to Waterfall Bluff and back.

Anyway, enjoy the pictures!
