Here, I'm sitting on a shelf of ironite.  The sandstone has layers of ironite in it, which erodes more slowly.  You often get these odd, mushroom like shelves.  Sometimes you can sit on them.  Sometimes you walk out on them--and it'll snap off under your weight.  You have to be careful walking close to edges.
